Light, crisp, and richly flavoured - our walnut kernels are sourced from Kashmir and the Himalayan foothills, regions long recognised for producing some of the world's finest akhrot. Shelled by hand and graded for size and colour, these kernels are kept in clean halves so that nothing of the original quality is lost.
Walnuts have held a particular place in Indian winters since long before Ramjeevan opened its doors in 1932 - soaked, ground into ladoos, or eaten plain for their reputed benefits to heart and brain. They are exceptionally rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and plant protein.
We refuse the bitter, oxidised kernels common in lower-grade lots. What you receive is what we would eat ourselves.
Storage
Refrigerate after opening to preserve the delicate oils. Keep sealed and away from light to prevent rancidity.
