Dried Afghani Anjeer

From the highlands of Afghanistan come these prized anjeer - naturally sun-dried, never artificially sweetened, and chosen for their soft texture and deep, honey-like sweetness. At Ramjeevan, anjeer has been a quiet hero of our shelves since 1932, treasured by generations of Jodhpur families during fasts, festivals, and quiet evenings with a cup of tea.

Rich in dietary fibre, calcium, iron, and natural sugars, dried figs are among the most nourishing fruits known to traditional Indian wellness. Soak two in milk overnight for a tonic our grandmothers would recognise.

Each fig is hand-inspected before packing. We accept nothing less than the standard our customers have come to expect of us across nine decades.

Storage

Store in an airtight container away from sunlight. Refrigerate after opening to preserve softness and flavour.
